Efficient BIM
Need to import your CAD drawings (DXF, DWG) into Revit but also use a CTB to transform them before importing? This is the add-in that does just that. Supports colors, line thickness and much more!

General Usage Instructions

Click the "Import CAD using CTB" button and select a CAD drawing.

Select a CTB file to use during transformation.

Change the various settings at will or leave them at default.

Click transform and import.




The installer that ran when you downloaded this plug-in from Autodesk App Store has already installed the plug-in. You may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the plug-in. To uninstall this plug-in, click Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features (Windows 7/8/8.1/10) or Control Panel >uninstall as you would any other application from your system

Additional Information

Known Issues

- If you are having issue noticing line types change the scale (as you would on a normal Revit 'Insert CAD')

- If you are seeing hatches be imported as solids change the unit of import (it's a Revit bug) to e.g. meters or feet
