PowerCad-PNL
Win64, EnglishGeneral Usage Instructions
Once installed, a PowerCad-PNL will appear in the Add-Ins tab on your ribbon. To open up the electrical schematic select the Electrical Network icon. This will open a separate screen where you can find the commands detailed in the commands section of the help file. For this app to work the Panelboards must be correctly modeled as Transformers, Panelboards or Switchboards and linked with a circuit.
The cable length between the boards is displayed on the diagram. This cable length is calculated by Revit and is the addition of the lengths along each axis between the boards. The units displayed are the same units set for the project.
PowerCad-PNL also provides a link to PowerCad-5 for detailed electrical design, by exporting the panelboards and their connections into PowerCad-5. PowerCad-5 is a separate software package for modeling complex electrical L.V. Distribution Networks.
