Description
This simple tool will help you find and use your most important views, like your work-in-progress views or any sheets that you are currently working on for a longer period. You can have your Favourite Views always accessible and just a click away. You don't have to mess with the cumbersome Browser Organization anymore!
It is inspired by the pin function available in some browsers, that lets you pin any of your open tabs to the beginning of your infinite list of tabs, and keeps them in front of you wherever you are.
While this function can't be exactly reproduced in Autodesk® Revit®, it is possible have something similar, just dock your Favourite Views panel above your project browser.
Hey Jamie! This only happens if you install the addin while Revit is running. Dockable panels can only be registered during the startup of Revit, thats why you get this error message. Restart Revit, and the addin will work as expected.
Hi Sorry this was my bad, I needed to reset Revit for it to work. Absolute Brilliant bit of software, saves user a lot of time especially on large commercial projects. I have the packages saved and my working view for quick access. Tamas, when do you think a version for Revit 2023 would be made available?
Thanks for this - any chance of a 2023 version on the horizon?
Dear Kevin! I cann't provide an updated version through the appstore right now, but I can suggest you an "unofficial" method to make your current installation work with 2023 & 2024, just contact me through the provided mail address.
this is an amzing program that I've been using. Is there any chance that we will get 2024 version?

Favorite, not Favourite
Hi Daniel! I'm glad you like it. Regarding the spelling this is the correct way as per the british spelling standards, but both are correct after all. https://www.grammarly.com/blog/favorite-favourite/
Is this error shows up when you try to open the panel via the ribbon button? If so then there should be another error message when you startup Revit, because it seems Revit fails to register the panel for some reasons. The first error window should have more info about why it fails to register the panel. Please contact me at info@thumder.eu to troubleshoot your issue!
