Transfer Family Parameters
Opening families one by one, creating family parameters, and saving and loading in a project can be a long process. This tool can help you avoid all these tasks by automatically reusing existing family parameters.
"Transfer Family Parameters" is simple, easy and fast. Simply select parameters from a family loaded in an Autodesk® Revit® Project, then select families to add these parameters and click ok. Copied parameter names can be renamed if needed.

It does what it says it does - however, would be great if it could also transfer parameters that includes formulas.
Need this app for the latest ver of Revit 2023
oh no!!!! I was so excited to download this and then I saw it was only for 2022....Lame. Looks like he updated it from 2021, so perhaps there is still hope.
Tons of families to copy parameters from . . . .
Thank you soooooooooooo much for updating this!!
Update to 2021
hi, will you please update this to revit 2021 ??
Please create version 2020-2021 please.
Спасибо, модуль прекрасно работает!
Could you please upgrade this app to 2020-21!!!!!!
Thanks for that tool! Is it possible to transfer content/text of each parameter?
The tools work fine but it transfer shared parameter as family parameter.
..If there must be at least one instance placed in the project/family, does this mean it can not be use to import parameters from profile families? ( as you can`t place profiles). Thanks lot anyways great tool. Best.
This Feature is very useful when creating sequentially families, meanwhile it should be upgraded to resolve the below issues:
1- The tool transfer Shared parameter as family parameter
2- Parameters with Formulas will not be transferred
Looks promising but only works for type parameters?? Not instance..
It works on both type and instance parameters. You can transfer family parameters between families in a Revit project or between families inside a Revit family (nested family). There must be at least one instance placed in the project to view and transfer family instance parameters. It's less straightforward with nested families. Either you open a nested family and transfer instance parameters while editing this family or you can place directly in a project the families that are part of the nested family and transfer instance parameters.
I am also getting only type parameters :(.
I think parameters which are determined by formulas are missing from the lists! It would be nice if it let transfer that as well as formulas. Thanks.
Equipment Schedules which also host the same parameter do not seem to pick up the parameter data from the family into the schedule.
This tool has saved me hours adding new parameters to 100's of families in our projects. Thank you Emanuel
You are welcome Johan!
