  • Add-In is Great, Support is even better
Doug Mahoney | November 08, 2019 Verified Download (What's this?)

I was having some trouble using this add in, emailed support. Within 30 minutes I received a phone call from Jamie at StructSoft. He set up a GoToMeeting, and I showed him my issue. We ended the meeting with no solution yet so that Jamie could try some things on his own while I went back to work. 10 minutes later he called me back with the solution.(Hint: Make sure that Generic Models are turned on)

This is easy to use, flexible, and a real time saver.

Didn't recognised any Australian steel size, K2 value missing error and another. Developer.. keep in mind world wide users frequent these pages.

  • Does not install on R2015
    D.M.I. Aipassa | March 26, 2015 Verified Download (What's this?)

I run the install but it does not install on Revit 2015. Please make this possible.

  • Cant open tool
Tim Cooper | February 24, 2015 Verified Download (What's this?)

I would like to try it out, but I don't see the icon/command to start the tool. Revit 2015 UR6. It isn't in 'StrucSoft Apps' where column splitter is, not in the 'add-ins' and doesn't seem to appear in any of the regular tabs.

  • Could be great tool...
Jerzy Cierpicki | May 06, 2014 Verified Download (What's this?)

Could be great tool... but didn't work for me. Tried to use it on IPE, HEA, HEB beams but without success - application just says that can't find k2 parameter!

    Aamir Masood (Publisher) | May 06, 2014

Right now this tool only works with W Shapes, as it says in the description. Please insert family W-Wide Flange.rfa from Autodesk store and try the tool. This family has a variable k2 which is a curve radius. In other families it may have a different name. If k2 is defined or renamed to in other families then this tool will work.

    Jerzy Cierpicki | May 08, 2014

Thanks for reply... It's a pity that application is restricted only to Imperial W-Wide Flange.rfa family. In metric Wide Flange family there is <> parameter in-place of <>, so metric library of W-Wide Flange Shapes is also not supported by this application. Very nice looking application but very limited use (only one shape and only from Imperial family)...

  • Excellent New Tool
Scott Melching | March 24, 2014 Verified Download (What's this?)

Excellent new tool from StructSoft Solutions. Very easy to add web stiffeners wherever you need. Recognizes beam sizes and adjusts accordingly. Look for more innovative products from StructSoft Solutions, a leader in Revit plug ins.
