Run Lookup

Digitally signed app
Description
Important: Run Lookup has been redesigned. The lengths of 'Conduit with Fittings' and 'Cable Tray with Fittings' have proven to be inaccurate. Therefore, we have discontinued support for these families.
Run Lookup is a streamlined add-in for Autodesk® Revit® that simplifies the calculation of the total length for selected conduit or cable tray runs. By factoring in angle bends in its calculations, Run Lookup excels in scenarios where the length or angle of a conduit run may be constrained.
The add-in is compatible with the following systems:
- Conduits without fittings
- Bend (Elbows)
- Cable trays without fittings
- Horizontal Bend
- Vertical Inside Bend
- Vertical Outside Bend
Run Lookup determines the total run length in the following way:
- For conduits/cable trays without fittings (family): Run Lookup utilizes the Revit Run Schedule to extract the length, inclusive of any fittings of the type 'ELBOW'.
If you require an add-in to streamline the use of the run schedule in Revit, we recommend our Data Ctrl app. This solution is designed to simplify your workflow.
Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
Very helpful tool for modeling conduit. Saves a lot of time when back checking conduit runs. I did notice a feature change sometime between V1.8.0 and V25.0.0.
In 1.8.0 I'm able to select a run with condulet, and when using a keybind to run the tool, it recognizes that condulet as reseting the bends and splits it into 2 runs in the schedule, which is very helpful when determining when a break in the run is necessary.
In the 25.0.0 version, that feature has disappeared. So when running the tool on a run that has a condulet, it does not recognize that as resetting the bends, so now we have to visually inspect if we're checking runs that have condulets already.
but it doesn't work here.
I can't select any conduit. I don't know why...
Is it because it's made to be used with inches conduits only??
We are sorry to hear that Run Lookup isn't working as expected for you. It should work with any system units supported by Revit. However, like any other software, there may be some scenarios that we haven't encountered. We would like to know more about the issue to see if we can do something to resolve it. Could you please email us at support@ggdesk.com? Thanks
It is because your family of tubes must be with unions, it only accepts tubes without unions.
This add-in is a must if you model conduit. It makes it so much easier than manually counting bends and length. You can easily tell when you need to add a pull-box.
Excellent tool! highly recommended
This Addin is light weight, very clean and easy to use UI and functionality that does exactly what it says, saving a ton of time instead of the our old visual validation of total degrees per run.
