The Catenda add-in for Autodesk® Revit® is the perfect tool for projects collaborating in Arena. All your topics are synchronized in real-time between Revit and Catenda, letting you access, share, and communicate topics. The topics format is BCF so that the issues can be shared across any BCF-enabled BIM software or platform.

Hi guys, great idea to get the model collaboration conversation into an open format. I'm struggling to get this working though. Crashes Revit (!), IFC upload seems to kill the system (crash?). Get in touch with me is poss - see what I'm doing wrong! Also, is there actually a free BCF component here or is it only free to make a BCF, not share it?
Hello David from Trimble, thank you for the review. I see you opened a free project back when we still offered that plan. With the free plan it was only possible to try out the document managment area of Catenda (CDE) while the models area remained locked. Catenda offers infinite accounts per license. If your building project is using Catenda it is therefore likely that you will get invited to become part of the the project information in Catenda. I see we have been in contact with some of your developers and have given you full access for a period so you can see what is available. With full access you will be able to create BCF topics in Catenda without having to have the browser open. Project members working with other tools will be able to import these BCF topics and collaborate on them. People working in Revit will be able to see th communication from these other tools without having to leave their environment. Kind regards, - Sjaak
