It made my revit slower, and obviously its not a free tool, a big waste of time

It was a nice tool when it was free for the only reason I used if. Was for the excel tables. It was fast, quick and easy
But now you have to buy a subscription for and my company will not buy it now ai have to look for something else..

I run ProSheets after free trial expired. Clicking "cancel" buttton on window informing that trial has ended causes Revit to turn off without any notification and chance to save work. Just lost 2 hours of work. I chcecked it multiple times, crashes Revit every time.

is sad how this became a nice and incredible tool and 2024 became non free now the popularity has drop to levels uncertainly low. I suggest you keep it free or people will take alternatives and erase Diroots name from the glory

Way too expensive
Given that it’s been free for over 7 years, continuously adding value through new features and improvements, it has likely saved millions of hours of work during that time. I believe it's entirely reasonable for them to start charging and make a living from their hard work. Honestly, I’m surprised Autodesk hasn’t acquired them and started charging three or four times what they’re asking now. Just a thought, but your comment seems off for "someone" who has benefited from their tools, especially considering you may not have contributed much to their success. Their pricing is totally justified based on the immense value they provide.
First off there is a little thing called supply and demand, and since they are far from the only ones out there offering similar tools it's a bit ridiculous to $200 per module per year. second I used one and only one tool, the schedule exporter, so not all that much value. Especially when you consider the fact that I replaced DiRoots with my own Python script which took me all of an afternoon to write, which again considering that not all that much value. They are absolutely high thinking I'd pay that much. PyRevit, those people should be charging. This is a rip off.

Good tool, but now too expensive
So far I have mainly used Sheet Link to export lists and import them again after editing. (A BIM workflow that is unfortunately not directly supported by Autodesk :()
But €100 per user is too expensive! I will look for an alternative.

I used to use the Tablegen tool all the time for my work, it was critical to my workflow and now I'm scrambling to figure out an alternative. I never really needed to use any other tool and when you look for excel to revit import tools this still comes up as free even though you have to pay a premium for the tool.

I think giving the app a 1-star rating just because it's no longer free is really nonsense. However, the developer should consider selling the tools within the app individually. In my case, there are only a few tools that I use frequently (though not very often).

Reasonable to want to profit off your creations. But everywhere its published as "a great free tool". Now you need a premium for every user, no floating licence... The Export from SheetLink was a need we had just one or two times in a project. one suite per user is not possible

I get it. Very reasonable to want to profit off your creations. Unfortunate that they get published in industry related media and publications as "a great free tool" lately and then immediately switch to this. I would prefer if they had went pay for use on segments, "a la carte" on tools I use more than the rest. TableGen was a need we had that we cannot justify a whole suite purchase, per user, for. Back to raster images I guess.

When can link files also be filtered

Linked files can't yet be filtered, but this is a feature we are actively exploring for a future release. !!!It is not possible to input Chinese characters normally in the text box through Chinese input method (such as Sogou input method). In most cases, you need to copy and paste Chinese input, and occasionally you can directly input it, which is very confusing

This is a 100% must-have set of tools. Maybe you don't use every tool but there will surely be one or more that will make your work a lot easier. BTW also look for their free ProSheets.

It was a great tool but until the last update removed the "parameter" label from Sheet Gen to filter sheets which was a great feature! Can you please add it back? I really want to rate it 5 stars.

The announcement of premium tools was made end of September. Yet, when installing a file from July, the tools are locked. I get changing to a subscription for new releases, but to lock the older versions as well is a d!ck-move.

To simplify maintenance we discontinued older releases, so downloading an outdated installer will still prompt you to sign in and use the current version. However, all of the original free tools remain available in the free tier — you don't need a paid subscription to keep using them. Please make sure you are running the latest version, and if you see any unexpected restrictions let us know at support@diroots.com so we can investigate. I would recommend this addin to every Revit modeler.
Took a little getting used to the interface for sheet and view generators, but I was used to one system that we maintained in house compared to DiRoots. DiRoots has many more features than we typically use.
Our whole office appreciates the electrical panel exporter!
Sheet link has made updating large amounts of text easy and allows a simple format for PM's to update and return to the VDC team to just import.

Fantastic app that deserves a good donation. Just a suggestion for the OneFilter app.It would be great if it were possible to update a saved selection filter to include new entities added after it was created. Currently it seems that you have to recreate the filter from scratch. or is it not so?

I am a big fan of your work, and I found today the new DirootsOne that combined a few old addons. Amazing work! Thank you very much for the best tools for Revit. The best part is that they are all free, which seems impossible, and I don't know how this is possible.

I cannot believe that this App is for Free! I have seen similar Add-In which charged a bomb for these features.

This is the best plugins to do multitasking like Batch PDF, DWG, NWC & IFC export along with Reading the Parameter value for filename, parameter manager which can help to add a parameter to multiple families etc...
