I wish it helped with detail renumbering on sheets, but I can't seem to get that parameter to show in the dialogue box
I join the request to add the same number to the numbering of the same elements. What would be your price?
This has to be resolved @ the family type level, not the element ID. The whole idea with the object number is to avoid duplicates.
Fantastic add-in! Thank you for offering it for free. Can you add an option for it to renumber identical MEP fabrication parts the same number? This could work well for wall types etc as well.
Thanks again!

GREAT JOB
Mohammed, thank you very much for the 5 stars review 🙂
I mostly use this plugin to Renumber my APL points the way I want them numbered and in the order I want.
Chris, thank you very much for the 5 stars review 🙂
Funciona genial para numerar elementos con prefijo o sufijo
Thierry, muchas gracias por la revisión de 5 estrellas 🙂
Thanks for this great free add-in, will there be an update for revit 2022?
Gerard, thank you very much for the 5 stars review 🙂
Thank You for the wonderful set of free plugins.
I have an immediate problem with the Reodering pluging. It request to "ungroup" to renumber a parameter (in this case Mark) that in revits' conventional workflow does not require ungrouping to be changed(since it is a parameter that is uniquie to that single instance of the object which in this case is a door).
Is there a workaround that allows your plugin to attempt to force renumber such "instance parameters" in groups where revit allows?
Once again, Great Plugin.
EDIT: The App Developer has noted the issue with a possiblity of implementation in the next release.
EDIT 2:Very Happy with Update
Hi Ayo, Thank you for your review and feedback. At this stage, it’s not possible to force ReOrdering to update the parameters without ungrouping. However, we are happy to inform you that this feature will be implemented in the next update. 🙂
Works perfectly for MEP families as well.
Neil, thank you very much for the 5 stars review 🙂
Works perfect! Very useful!

Great
Thank you very much for the 5 stars review! 🙂
Thank you for developing this nice add-in! For HVAC designers numbering ducts and duct fittings are essential. Could you add these categories to the list? Would be very appreciated!
@Peter, thank you for your positive feedback! ReOrdering should include ducts and duct fittings. Can you please send us an email support@diroots.com so we can understand what may be going wrong? 🙂
@Joao, thanks for the prompt response. Finally, the issue was resolved (somehow a project was opened, where the air side components were missing...), however I would like to share some ideas as well.Generally, HVAC designers do a special numbering for each duct system to mark its' Ducts, Duct Fittings, Duct Accessories and also Air Terminals. Every duct system gets a unique prefix and it's components a number in ascending order from AHU to Air Terminals (e.g for AHU-1 Supply System: S1/1, S1/2, S1/3 etc.). Thankfully this could be done with the current ReOrdering version (1.1.0.0.) in Manual mode, which is very nice, but there is a space to make it more handy: (A) Make "Crossing" ordering method work with more than just one Category. (B) Develop a new feature for HVAC systems: The user would let ReOrdering know, where to start the numbering a duct system (1st element after the AHU), and the software would go instance by instance until it finds the end points while filling the Mark parameter. Feature (A) would save time, Feature (B) would save significant amount of time, as it would automate the whole process. :) Hope you can consider these ideas while setting future development directions. Thank you for your great effort!
@Peter thank you for such amazing feedback and for your suggestions 😉 Your ideas will be very useful for our users and they will be considered in a future release.
I'm glad to be the 1st to rate this add-in. all your add-ins are very useful and very well thought off.
Thank you for such an amazing feedback! We do our best to keep improving our tools :)
