Family Manager PowerPack for Revit® is an easy to use powerful tool for managing, organizing and accessing multiple libraries of Revit Families both locally and across your company’s network.
The Family Manager suite includes the following tools:
Family Manager: The Family Manager enhances the user’s ability to upload, update, export or edit family components in just a few quick steps, populating the 3D model with the required family instances. Users can select which families and types they want to load into the project, with the ability to select multiple components in different categories and to control the size of the project file by not importing several types of the same instances.
Functionality has been updated to detect existing loaded families and the ability to select a network folder location.
File Updater: The File Updater function converts all project files from a previous version of Revit® to the latest version installed on the user’s computer. It is possible to either create a backup copy of the updated files, overwrite them in the new version of the program and select from a folder the type of Revit file you want to convert.
Instead of opening each project/family/template and waiting for the update process to be fulfilled, it is possible to run the command for a folder and let the procedure complete overnight.
Family Exporter: The Family Exporter function allows the export of several selected families in a current project to a target destination folder in just a few clicks. All the families loaded within the active Revit project are displayed as a category list. The user can choose to export all families at once, or select individually which family to export from the category list.
