My issue is getting REvit to make all my texts into UPPER case, the text file is at UPPER case. You would think the programmers would leave that up to us.
Sorry, the app supports Revit 2023 it's just not indicated on exchange. I will fix that shortly. The main application is served from our website; it just hasn't been updated on exchange. As for capitalization, this is simply a setting. If you go to the 'Editing' tab of the settings dialog there is a setting for 'Automatic Casing'. You can set this to upper, lower, title, or sentence case to have KM automatically update your casing to your office standard. You can also set it to 'None' to have it not change casing at all in which case it's completely up to you. Lastly you can also use Shift-Enter to commit a change to a note and ignore the casing setting for just that one commit.
Great keynoting tool that is far superior to the build in Revit tools. Reasonably priced for what it offers.
Licensing system does not support non-persistant virtual desktops.
Hi David, thank you for your review. While standalone licenses are not ideal for the setup you are talking about the portable license (especially on the system released last month) should handle this just fine. If you wish to deploy licensing on a machine wide level there are instructions for that on the deployment page of the website. With the portable license the license is returned when the user shuts down or times out after 15 minutes if the machine is killed without a proper shutdown (you can also force release on the license portal). Then if the machine wide deployment is in place the next user will get a license from the pool automatically. If you have a full VM that is destroyed regularly you would just have to make sure that machine wide license is part of the VM image and it should still pick up the license. If you don't find this sufficient for non-persistent virtual desktops please elaborate what you would rather see happen and we'd be happy to look at it.

After a few teething issues - Stephen worked really hard for me trying to get this right. It was simply a case of turning off the keynote watcher feature to stabilise the app. Stephens attention to this issue was outstanding, This app fulfills what should be a basic function of Revit. A great tool

Stephen worked hard with me on this one. It appears turning off the keynote watcher feature stabilizes the app & allows the use of KM as intended. That being said - this is a great app once stabilized. Stephen is working on the fix - but I'll be purchasing based on what I've seen thus far. All credit to the level of service sorting this.
The idea behind Keynote manager is good however there are still a lot of simple issues like changing the case of keynotes from all CAPS to Camel Case for no reason. Using the "change case" option doesn't work ll the time either. Unfortunately using excel is still the easiest way to edit keynotes on my projects.
Hi Steve, sorry to hear you are having issues. As far as the casing, there is a setting in the settings dialog for automatic casing; if this is set it will automatically change your casing to all caps, all lower, sentence case, or title case. The idea here is that it should be set to your office standard and then it will automatically adhere to that. However if you want to turn this off and deal with casing on your own it also has a setting for 'None' that will not change the case of notes. As far as changing case not working, there was a bug in earlier builds that could cause this function not to work properly. This bug has been found and fixed in the latest build so if you update to the latest it should be working as expected but if not please let me know and I would be happy to troubleshoot and help figure out what may be happening. Brent, As mentioned in my reply to Steve Webster the casing is simply a setting that can be changed, and the bug with change case was fixed in February as soon as it was reported. I know you have had some crashes and per the above we are working on finding the issue but need a bit more information from you to help diagnose. If there is some other functionality issues please let me know so they can be fixed.
Revit keep shutting down reason unknown. after I turn off this program, then Revit is working properly. please figure out this problem. cannot imagine my work without this program.
Please download the latest build of the website as there was a bug discovered and fixed recently that could cause delays and possibly crashes. If you get the latest version and still have the issue please use the bug report in the program to contact us and we will be happy to help find and fix the issue.
This is a must have piece of software for Revit. Our office could not work efficiently without it. We rarely have any technical issues but when we do they are very prompt to correct and follow-up to see if the issue is resolved. I highly recommend Keynote Manager and Revolution Design.

We started using the keynote function of Revit without Keynote Manager and quickly realized that there has to be a better solution available. Keynote Manager has saved us the headaches of trying to edit, let alone decipher, the extensive text file that Revit uses to create its keynotes. Steve is prompt with an email and even accepts direct calls if there are any questions regarding the software. Grade A product and a great price to boot! You are missing out if you haven't tried Keynote Manager + yet!
I don't know how you can use the keynoting system in Revit without Keynote Manager. Steve has been developing this program for years and with each new version it just gets better and better. This program has saved me hundreds of hours of frustration and hassle in the years I've been using Revit.
The best program out there to add, update and oversee our keynoting system. Integrates totally with Revit. I recently upgraded to a new computer and had to do without Keynote Manager for a few hours and I was totally lost until I got my license transferred. The most important part of Keynote Manager is the prompt response from Keynote Support. I highly recommend this program to everyone who uses keynoting!
A task that nobody really likes to do at our office is made so much easier with Keynote Manager! I really like the simplicity of the interface and the features are wonderful.
