An Add-In to calculate the centroid of a solid element and place three model lines intersecting at the CG. This Add-In was created to help the precast industry with finding the CG of Structural Framing members for lifting purposes but this tool can be used in different industries.

    Revit piping object is hollow, but the actual piping is empty. Is this considered for this program?

    This is very helpful for figuring out the placement of lifters in precast products.  We used to switch over to autocad to find the CG of more complicated pieces, but now there is no need to.

    A lot of people have been asking for this tool for a long time. Very user friendly way to select items that return the center fo gravity of what was selected. Also does multiple items into one group which is great for shearwall groupings as well as add-on tiems such as corbels. Overall, very impressed.
