Tired of dragging and dropping the same Legend 20 times on your set of drawings?
Tired of having to manually duplicate your View before placing them on your sheets?
Don't you think it's a bit odd when your Viewports aren't perfectly aligned from one plan to another?
Because that's what I felt, and that's why I developed this tool.
If you have a Legend/View that needs to appear on numerous sheets, this tool will save you a lot of time.
The workflow is very simple :
- Make sure you have placed your Legend/View on at least one sheet
- Start the add-in and click on the Viewport containing your Legend/View
- You will be asked to check all the sheets on which you want to replicate it
- If you are going to proceed multiple sheet sizes, choose the anchor point so that your new Viewports will be aligned at the right location
- Let the magic happen, then ask yourself: "Why was it so complicated before ?!"

how much trouble is to add a filter setting to isolate only the sheets that share the same legend?
It has been saving a tremendous amount of time and it's awesome for creating multiple uniform sheets. However there are a few kinks that would make it even better imo...
It would be great if the addin could remember the window position (it always appears on the opposite end of the wrong screen), its size (I always need to stretch the window to max size for minimal scrolling) and more importantly the last used settings. It's still quite cumbersome (and error prone) to have to uncheck "Duplicate as a Dependant" every single time or set the desired Anchor point. Maybe allow users to change the default settings? It would also be extremely helpfull, most of all, if the addin could remember which sheets I last selected to copy to.
Great timesaver that could be an excellent timesaver. It is however an essential addin that once again highlights basic functionality that should've been in Revit by default.

i have been looking for something like that. I know the option is there in revit but its just not as great as this tool
