Beschreibung

Project Thunderdome is a useful tool for managing and deploying client-side Vault settings and content.  Certain features, such as Saved Searches, are stored on a user’s local computer, so if you want to share that Saved Search with the rest of the team, it can be difficult to do.

Project Thunderdome solves that problem by allowing the Vault administrator to create a deployment package which distributes client settings to other Vault users.

Thanks so much for this. In the past I had to run around and change everyone's settings. We use saved searches to track a lot of stuff here using reports, and without Thunderdome we wouldn't have even gone down this road. I don't understand why Autodesk doesn't incorporate this functionality right into their software. If you don't know about this app, you will get frustrated beyond belief.

Problem, a colleague will repeatedly the question if he wants to install the updates. Not all grid settings will set.

Check the settings of the Users\\Appdata\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Vault Professional 2015\Servers folder and sub folders. We had ours set to read only and had this problem, but once we changed this the app works flawlessly. It even imported settings from a 2014 deployment when we migrated to 2015.

Dan Faux, read only was true, I try it without read-only, but it doesn't help. Do you have more ideas?
