Beschreibung

When the Autodesk® AutoCAD® variable OSNAPZ is changed many have found it useful to have a more visual change to indicate its state. In verticals like Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture you have a small button that indicates the state of the “Z lock” but some might want to even have also the background color change just like the Block Editor changes the background color.

In AutoCAD Architecture there is a button on the application status bar named “Replace Z value with current elevation” but in vanilla AutoCAD you have to run OSNAPZ to make the change. With this app it is as easy as a click on a button to make the change.

With OSNAPZ set to 1 anything you snap to only uses the current elevation as z value. OSNAPZ controls whether object snaps are automatically projected onto a plane parallel to the XY plane of the current UCS at the current elevation.

Visit our OsnapzBG app page for more information about this app.

If you want more options to change colors or support for newer versions than AutoCAD 2020 see our OsnapzBG Plus app.

This also changes my Auto Snap Marker to white. Can I disable this? kind of annoying.
