Based on the Drawing Compare feature in Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture®, this plug-in compares two versions of a drawing. Comparison differences are temporarily displayed on the Original drawing verison in the drawing area (new objects in green, modified objects in yellow, moved objects in white, deleted objects in red).
Although this app is compatible with AutoCAD 2019, we have a new DWG Compare in AutoCAD that is preferred for 2019 and later release. It’s located in the Collaborate tab.

I've installed the tool and I get a successful install message, but after restarting Autocad 2017 there is no new tab and DWGCOMPARE command is not recognized.
this tool only works with files that are modified manually. but doesn't compare dwg files that auto-generated (i.e exported from Revit for example)
Great tool, literally essential, but it often happens to stuck, perhaps because the drawings are large even after tidying up, is there a solution?

Faz um tempo que eu instalei esse software, e a principio estava funcionando normalmente. Voltei a utilizar o programa e quando vou em "Add-ins" e clico no "DWG Compare", abre uma janela escrito "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled c0000409h Exception at d2be5ee2h", e fecha o AutoCAD. Não consigo usar e realmente preciso desse programa.
Used this program to sort out files in 3 different locations and find the original as most of the files has identical names and no revision ID. Worked spot on.
A tool to waste not save time. I needed to reinstate AutoCad like a hole in the head
Worked great in Civil 3D 2017 SP2 with AutoCAD objects only. Would like to see compare expanded to include AEC objects. Also AutoCAD Mac version.
Great tool to compare complex drawings. New drawing revision? No problem: it will show new, modified & deleted items. Saves precious time.
does well without autocad 2017 sp1. After sp1 got installed rejects to work with an exception error. Confirmed after two reinstall with and without sp1. Fix is dont use sp1, which is kind of annoying. Some programmer should take a look into this.
Yesterday It was worked properly. From today morning its annoying, whenever I click over this ADD-IN it popups an error that AutoCAD Application has stopped working. I tried opening this tool in a default cad template and drawing (which I have saved before), its not working well. Also I tried Repair and Reinstall too.
Hey,I found this tool very useful, but since i uptaded fresh new ACad to 2017ver. and after new installing DWG-Compare2016/2017 addon can't be found on Acad CUI (Win10 confirms installation).. Could someone help me?

Does not work in a different language version than the EN
I was struggling with the version management for a long while and don't have a good tool in past. I am so happy to have this tool finally.
