CADstudio DWGsync is an Autodesk® AutoCAD® add-on utility for AutoCAD 2013-2025 (both 32/64-bit).

 

This .NET tool synchronizes the zooming/panning of 2 or more similar DWG files. It can be used e.g. for visual comparison of drawings, co-viewing a previous version of a drawing, etc. Any view change (zoom/pan) in the "master" will be carried over to the other drawings opened in the same session.

    Nice tool for reviewing. Is there any key to terminate the tool? My cursor disappears so the only way to terminate is by pressing a key.

    You can either press ScrollLock do disable synchronization of the views. Or enter the DWGSYNCOFF command (may be assigned to a hotkey), or click the red "x" button in the ribbon to completely switch off the tool.

    DWGsync is awesome. A perfect tool for reviewing drawings. I wish AutoCAD has such function inside.
