Tables to CSV
Extract and convert coordinate tables from drawings — now with optional AI image scanning.
Tables to CSV lets you select columns of text directly from your Autodesk® AutoCAD® drawing and instantly transform them into structured tables. Export your data to CSV or TXT format in seconds — ideal for plotting, testing, or uploading to a data logger.
This tool was developed in response to real-world frustration: dealing with inconsistent coordinate tables in drawings that required time-consuming manual transcription. Tables to CSV makes that process quick, accurate, and repeatable.
New in this version: AI Table Recognition
In addition to selecting exploded text from within your drawing, you can now take a screenshot or scan of a table, and the built-in AI assistant will extract the data automatically using Google Gemini.
Key Features
Works with exploded text table elements
Outputs clean CSV or TXT files
AI can scan images of tables, including screenshots or scanned drawings
Includes free trial scans; credits can be purchased for continued AI use
AI runs locally via a small helper executable for maximum compatibility and privacy
Whether you're working on-site or at your desk, Tables to CSV helps reduce errors and save valuable time.
It offers an AI scan trial is not truly free
The whole process of scanning digital / text tables in Autocad is free. I have to pay for the AI scans so that is the reason you only get a few free trial scans with the AI feature. Try the version from the Appstore, you get 5 free then they are only 10p a scan after that. Goto: https://tablescanpro.com/ There is plenty of info there and links to the Appstore and Google Play Store
Nothing in the Pipe and structure table is picked up by the tool/add-in.
You have probably not exploded the table. The table extractor looks for individual items of text and cannot read a block or embedded item. If you send me a copy I will have a look at it for you. simon@streamtech.co.uk The AI scanner would do it as it would treat it as an image and extract the data.
