This batch attribute editor app for Autodesk® AutoCAD® collects attributes in all blocks of specified name patterns in multiple drawings and displays them in a wide spreadsheet. Then you can edit attribute texts as easily as working with Excel. Once done, click "Apply Attribute Changes" to update values to drawings.
This makes it a great app to for example edit title block attributes across many drawings instead of having to do it one drawing at a time.
If you want to export the attributes to Excel use the "Export - Import" button. Optionally you can make modifications in Excel for example with help of functions and formulas and then import them back.
This app works on AutoCAD 2013 and 2014 in addition to newer versions of AutoCAD.

Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
Use case is with Autocad MEP and Autocad Plant3D. Project Navigator and Project Browser fields get lost when you export titleblock with attributes. Just reads "####" instead of field value. If you push it out, it overrides the attribute value to "####" and removes the field... Its a large issue that renders the usability of this software limited at time. There are work arounds for this... But for as good as JTB is at plug-ins this is an oversight. Especially for the price tag...
Additionally, the program appears to be a bit buggy and not full polished. Sometimes it exports 2+ of single drawings attributes even though there is one titleblock. Other times it has issues writing to drawings even though no users are in drawings. I've had enough issues with it over the last 3 yrs to come here and leave this review in hopes that JTB fixes the problems.
Program does work relatively okay, if you are searching for something like this, you have found your answer. Just know that this buggy and not polished... But for the high cost, this is a problem. The network license is a joke, can only be used by 1 person every 3-4 months before someone else can checkout. They want you to buy a single-user license for all users.

We have not made it work for the special fields used by verticals and are not aware of the issue until now, but we surely will investigate it and see if it can be improved. Unfortunately both our apps and AutoCAD always have bugs but we try to fix them for our apps. If you can reproduce the export issue or any other ones please contact us at info@jtbworld.com. The network license system is available at no extra cost and normally most useful for companies with quite many licenses. The network license is priced the same but you basically need a license per user anyway as the license will be locked to that user for 4 weeks after last usage. Reason is that our apps are normally running for relative short times. But the network license helps when you have many licenses as each computer does not need to be activated through us. There is volume discount available with purchase of multiple licenses.
Fantastic Trial Version but are you able to add from the APP Drawing info such as, Date File Saved, By Whom and What Version of Autocad ? Also seems to be compatible with our network security - an added plus.
