FabricationConnected is an Autodesk® Platform Services integration that connects your design models to your machines.

The Building Information Modeling (BIM) process is still new to many contractors. FabricationConnected was designed to help all contractors adopt this new process easily. FabricationConnected allows smooth information transfer between 3D fabrication modelers and the prefabrication shop or foreman on the job site. Fabrication Connected® is a first-of-its-kind SaaS software application for Autodesk® Revit® and Revit MEP, that helps designers more efficiently optimize assembly spooling and material procurement. FabricationConnected ensures that all assemblies are error-free and export-ready for prefabrication or on-site fabrication with TigerStop & RazorGage machines, thus saving time, and reducing the cost for the contractor.

The Spool module will show the user the spools associated with the project and allow them to cloud spool, tag, color, and dimension the parts shown in the viewer. Creation of Assemblies & Packages are available with no need to be imported from Revit. The procure module will enable the user to send orders to supply houses to order materials. And in the field one, will allow communication and status updates of scanned barcodes in the field upon installation.

The Fabricate module is the machine control for cutting and bending to build the fabricated elements that are shown in the Spool. This eliminates tedious exports and directly connects your design models to your machines, using a web socket app. 

Assemblies can be imported and pipes can be filtered to be optimized to the user's TigerStop, RazorGage machine, and bending machine. Upon applying TigerStop settings, and importing assemblies, pipe segments can easily be translated from a .CSV file or .xls file. The users can import a cultist, matching the information with the provided sample in a spreadsheet.

The users can bring the parts and create a cut list directly from the viewer. A machine job is created and the parts are filtered automatically by length, allowing the user to manipulate the elements for cutting or bending. An algorithm creates the optimized fit for the Stock provided by the user. Not only can create it by size but also, the user can create a full cut Plan with all the parts contained in the job, calculating the reusable & waste material from it. This reusable material can be imported to another work to avoid unnecessary loss. The move screen allows the user to control the machine and colocate it in a regular position value or create custom ones for specific values. 

The Machine Control allows the users to create custom labels and send them to printers (Zebra & Inkjet system). The labels can get designed and applied with the machine plan, matching the process. The web socket app will allow the user to connect to the printers that are connected to the Computer that is used. 

Connect to Autodesk® BIM 360®. Directly access your hubs, project files, and Revit models. Users can view their projects that contain assemblies, procure packages for staging products for fabrication and communicate with the Machines. Users can access 3D views and sheets of the associated models and navigate through their projects with ease. Fabrication Connected allows users to easily navigate and convey design intent to their fabrication teams.
