Creating ducts (duct banks or conduits) in Civil 3D is best achieved by defining a custom Pipe Network. You can create a custom Pipe Network part (rectangular or round) with any number of pipes by
Define Part Size.
Assign Elevation and distances.
Select the feature lines that can extend the pipes (rectangular or round) with a spacing distance or pick point
Rename the ducts related to alignment.
