This app contains two commands.
- Export Layer Filters tool that saves layer filters from the current drawing to an external .LFE file (which can be saved on a network volume for sharing).
- Import Layer Filters tool imports the contents of a previously saved .LFE file and merges it with the currently defined layer filters.

Added 2024 support
Since there has been no update to be compatible with AutoCAD 2025, this is now a defunct app.
It's more frustrating though that AutoDesk doesn't just include this in their package, since it is apart of their other lines.
How do I install the 2025 Netbuild? I havent found an instruction to install the Netload..
I found instructions on the AutoDesk forum specifically for this app. " 1.load the plugin by running the "netload" command and loading the modules existing at the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\LayerFilter.bundle\Contents\Windows 2.Use the "FiltExp" command to export your filter as an lfe file. 3.Use the "FiltImp" command to import your filter from an lfe file."
Please update for 2025 version.
DotSoft submitted the 2025 build to the AppStore July 8th, 2024. You will find a netload build (no install) on the DotSoft freeware page.
It does exactly what it says.
How is this not a native function is beyond me.

Civil 3D includes 2 commands: LAYERSAVEFILTERTREE and LAYERLOADFILTERTREE. However when loading a filter tree, it overwrites whatever filters exist in your drawing. This app keeps existing layer filters when loading new ones.
