Description
In the civil design, a reference/guide line created of an existing ground profile can be helpful. This tool can help to make a polyline by vertically move or offset from Profile as a reference/guide line.
Move mode:
Make a polyline which has same shape with an existing Profile, then move it vertically upward (positive distance value) or downward (negative distance value).
Offset mode:
Make a polyline which has same shape with an existing Profile, then offset it to upside (positive distance value) or downside (negative distance value) of the Profile.

This tool is great when you need to show offsets within a profile (pavement sections, or even a simple line representing a utility line)
Please update, to make it compatible with civil 3d 2021!

I'm sorry that I missunderstud the purpose of this app, all the time I was trying to get it to work on cross section and not profile (and it's not working on it) hence my previous review..

First of all, thanks for you time. 1. You can attchive same effect by inputting 0 when prompted to "Enter distance from profile to reference polyline". Then you can do anything you want to the generated polyline, offset/move/copy etc. 2. The feature of this tool, is generating a polyline from a PROFILE with same shape, without exploding the original PROFILE. Without this tool, if you would like to genete a polyline froma PROFILE, You have to do like below: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/convert-profile-to-polyline/td-p/3155646 https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/profile-object-line-to-polyline/td-p/2849100 or using other tool like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqbsBA7NCcw ; 3. It's NOT nice to give only 3 points to a FREE application just because it cannot offer what you need. Actually, I am always ready to impove the tool/add some new features if you can email me first.
