This add-in solves the problem where a user needs to find a drawing in an archive but only knows specific text he/she hopes some drawing contains. This add-in scans all drawings selected by user, finds all the text inside drawings and indexes and saves that text information internally. After this one-time operation, user can perform instant text search and the result will be the name of the file that contains the text, which can be directly opened and zoomed to searched text.
drag and drop your archive folder and click "Scan/Update"
wait until indexing process is finished (depending on file size, it takes anywhere between 0.1 to 10 seconds per file)
from now on, all of your archive files can be instantly searched by text keywords (if any files in your archive are changed later, you can always click "Scan/Update" and this add-in will find and scan only these files)
This add-in is a light version of 'And Where Was That?' add-in. It is designed as a personal helper app and unlike the full version it has no ability to connect to a remote MS SQL database server.
