GeoDin® Ground is a comprehensive solution offered to tackle the challenges faced by design teams and geotechnical engineers.Traditional methods of incorporating ground data into designs relied a lot on using separate sources of data and file types. GeoDin® offers you the possibility of having a single source of truth for your geodata. With GeoDin® Ground, you are able to directly access this data in Autodesk® Civil 3D®. This allows you to create designs that are safe, efficient, effective and maximize sustainability, as the risk for overengineering is limited.
Types of ground data visualized with GeoDin Ground:
- Borehole information
- Virtual logs (synthetic borehole data for specific locations, supplementing existing data to create more accurate ground models)
- Standard-compliant lithological layer descriptions
- Sample data

Selects and draws boreholes based on input.
Selects and draws detailed boreholes.
Draws surfaces based on multiple boreholes.
Creates solids between surfaces.
Exports and stores documents next to your drawing.
Views borehole data as properties inside Civil 3D.
Draws virtual logs within Civil 3D 2025 and 2026 (Metric), allowing the creation of artificial logs based on existing ones.
Whilst it looks good and seems fairly intuitive presumably this app is of little or no value if you don't have a GeoDin database?
