This add-in will enable you to export a Bill of Materials of a design as a XLSX (.xlsx), CSV (.csv), XML (.xml) or JSON (.json) file in a very simple and efficient way.

The Bill of Materials is generated from the components within a design. You can quickly export the bill of materials using the right-click context menu that will save a BOM file to a user-specified location.

The right-click context menu also has a "Settings" command with the following options:

• Set the default BOM creation method (Grouped By Component, Grouped By Part Number, Grouped By Part Name, Grouped By Bodies or Indented)
• Include or exclude a BOM column.
• Change the BOM column order.
• Change the BOM column heading using an “alias”.
• Add an “empty” BOM column.
• Include or exclude hidden items in the browser tree.
• Set the filetype of the exported BOM.
• Set the delimiter character for the CSV file type.
• Set the "Item Name" (Indented BOM only).
• Use a Custom Item No. (Indented BOM only).
• Include thumbnail images for the design, components or embed into an XLSX spreadsheet.
• Set the BOM export filename option.
