simulationHub Connect

Digitally signed app
Description
The SH Connect - simulationHub plugin allows you to export your geometry to https://www.simulationhub.com, an easy-to-use cloud-based CFD tool to test your designs. Once the geometry is exported, the model is available for you to perform CFD analysis of the design using simulationHub's Generic Simulation app.
Generic Simulation app is the most easy-to-use, UpFront CFD app built for designers, innovators, and enthusiasts. Get the CFD results compiled in a report.
Generic Simulation app helps designers to evaluate the product performance, quickly and with ease. This app is built from the ground up, with designers as the focal point. A designer needs fluid flow and thermal modeling capability on tap. We have avoided the clichéd features of traditional CFD applications and, instead, have focused on results required by designers. The designer need not worry about computing requirements to achieve their simulation goal, as it is deployed on the cloud. The Generic simulation app chooses appropriate computing devices to perform the simulation and makes sure the designer gets results within a shorter period of time. The analysis setup and results are automatically compiled in a ready-to-use PDF report
Subscription Details:
The subscription of 'Generic Simulation' app is based on a simulation credits system. After you download the 'SH Connect - simulationHub' app from the Autodesk app store for free, you can select a subscription plan for the app from SimulationHub AppStore. As Generic Simulation app performs CFD simulation to provide CFD results, computational resources are engaged on servers to run the simulations. The subscription plan covers the cost involved in utilizing these computational resources. There are three subscription plans: Trial subscription (free); Monthly subscription (USD 500); Yearly subscription (USD 5000).
The details of the plans are as follows:
1. Trial subscription plan - Free: Trial subscription provides access to the full version of the app for free, but with a limited 5 simulation credits and 15 days validity period. Each CFD flow simulation consumes one credit. This includes the entire CFD process from fluid volume extraction, meshing, simulation and post processing, to report generation. During the trial subscription period, you are eligible to get access to all the features as experienced by the monthly or yearly subscription user. Within the trial period, you can cancel your subscription. You will be auto-subscribed to the Monthly Subscription plan after 15 days of trial, if you haven’t previously cancelled it.
2. Monthly subscription plan - USD 500 (meant for light use): In this subscription plan you will receive 100 simulation credits with 30 days of validity. Each CFD flow simulation consumes one credit. This includes the entire CFD process from fluid volume extraction, meshing, simulation and post processing, to report generation. In case you run out of simulation credits within the subscription period, you can buy additional top-up credits as and when needed.
3. Yearly subscription plan - USD 5000 (meant for heavy use): In this subscription plan you will receive 1200 simulation credits with 365 days of validity. Each CFD flow simulation consumes one credit. This includes the entire CFD process from fluid volume extraction, meshing, simulation and post processing, to report generation. Your subscription will end after the duration of one year or after performing a total of 1200 simulations, whichever comes earlier. In case you run out of simulation credits within the subscription period, you can buy additional top-up credits as and when needed.
The above subscription plans are based on our average usage estimates of 100 simulations per month. Based on your requirement and estimated usage you can carefully review the above two plans and decide which one suits you the best. In case you have any queries regarding the subscription plan please contact us at support@simulationhub.com
They call this a beta but I have tried dozens of times over the last few months to get it to work and it doesn't. I have tried to contact their customer support which is a PITA and never got a response. It seems like this must be a stalled project or something. If you guys ever get it working right let me know.
