説明
This add-in will enable you to export a Bill of Materials of a design as a CSV (.csv) file in a very simple and efficient way.
The Bill of Materials is generated from the components within a design. You can quickly export the bill of materials using the right-click context menu that will save a CSV file to a user-specified location. You also have options to group the bill of materials by "component", by "part name" or by "body" and the option to create an "indented" bill of materials.

- Updated Python version (3.12) for the September 2024 release of Fusion 360.
I use it for exporting a CSV and import to MaxCut. Easy and very useful.
Thus far, the simplest and least expensive automated BOM generation tool that I have found (aside from just doing it myself in Excel).
However, in its current form, it doesn't mesh with my typical workflow. For example, while designing a flip-top tool cart, I have three components for different parts of the build (e.g., outer panels, rotating top, and shelves), each of which has multiple bodies within it. Unfortunately, regardless of whether I select "By Component" or "By Part Name," this tool generates exactly one entry for each component in the build, and completely ignores every single one of the bodies within each component.
Basically, as currently built, it seems each and every piece of my design would need to be it's own component. Would really like to see this tool able to generate a BOM by bodies...
App work, payed by paypal, downloaded, installed, working good and exported files seems as it looks at web, i'm glad for that addicional opcion to get infornation for that price. Thanks https://apps.autodesk.com/en/Publisher/PublisherHomepage?ID=7XHMMF4Q6JSN" target="_blank">Kevin Ramsay
As a woodworking hobbyist/enthusiast, I find this the simplest and easiest way to generate a parts list input for a cutlist program.
Simple and does exactly what I needed. Thanks!
