Makersite is AI, data and apps to power sustainable product and supply chain decisions at scale. This plugin provides a direct integration to the Makersite platform from within the Autodesk® Fusion 360™ environment. It works by converting your CAD model into a Bill of Materials (BOM), and requests Makersite to calculate climate change impacts as well as cost estimates of the BOM. It also provides suggestions on how to reduce these impacts in the form of material alternatives. Results can be visualized in a grid or as heatmaps. More, extensive information on other criteria such as risk, compliance etc. as well as more powerful scenario modelling, collaboration and PLM/PDM integration tools are available through subscriptions of the Makersite service.
