Hi Jake, Could you please send an email to projectholesaddin@gmail.com and specify more in detail, with examples, your process of projecting holes to an iPart - the results you get and your desired results? I might not understand at all, but it seems the addin allows you to accomplish in place, adaptive edits to iParts which in itself is very surprising to me. Best Regards, Jhoel Forshav

Thank you for your email. I'll explain the issue here as well in case anybody else also wonders about this. a "normal" iPart member cannot be edited. It's strictly driven by the iPart Factory since it's intended to serve as a library/standard part. Therefore, there's no way for Hole Projector to add holes to these members. You can however make your iPart Factory a Custom iPart Factory - by checking "Custom Parameter Column" for any of its columns. These factories generates unique ipt-files outside of the factory and has a one way link to the factory - meaning the factory affects the part but the part does not affect the factory. For these components you can use Hole Projector. To get the holes in drawings and dxf-files you have to reference the generated part - not the factory.

Hi Saurabh, thanks for your review! I'll make sure to add an icon for the addin to the toolbar in weldment environment as well for future releases. However, you can still use the addin in weldment environment. The command is called "Project holes". You can search for the command in the search bar in your top right corner and run it from there. You could also right click your toolbar > Customize User Commands and add a button for Project holes to any panel you want. I hope this helps for now!
