Helpmed me out and saved me time.
Isn't that the purpose?
Thank You.
This addin saved me tons of work. its Very easy to use and useful.
Tool does exactly what is suppose to do and in a more efficient way than the native one. great time saving
Always happy with your tools, hope to see you adding some more.
Not sure why youd ever need this when theres a feature already in Inventor to do this ? And to charge for it? Derive a component, share its parameters with another part. You can even break the link, or leave it and the component will update the same time as its derivative.
You may find the Copy / Paste parameter very useful to copy Text parameters, Boolean Parameters and Multivalue parameters because the derive component doesn't include those parameters in the derivation process. Best Regards,
Not sure what the point would be, text parameters, boolean are pretty much useless unless you're exporting it to the Custom User iProperties table. Theres also an Import/Export parameters button, which does what you describe.
great app, time saving, realy awsome
