The C3DT Flatten App is the solution for working with Frame Generator for construction companies. When you create multiple structures that have to be constructed it’s often difficult to separate these different structures.

The C3DT Flatten App explodes all or parts of the assemblies including the Frame Generator assembly. After this step, each part is grounded and all the constraints are removed. This makes it possible for the user to redefine the assembly and subassembly structure.  

The app has 3 main buttons:

1)      Flatten Assy All

2)      Flatten Assy Exclude

3)     Flatten Assy Frame

• When the Flatten All button is activated, a new assembly will be generated with all the Models placed at the first level, all the Models will be Grounded and all the constraints will be removed.
• When Flatten Assy Excluded is activated, a new assembly will be generated with all the Models placed at the first level, all the Models will be grounded and all the constraints will be removed EXCEPT the assemblies selected by the user.
• When Flatten Assy Frame is activated, a new assembly will be generated where only the Models inside the Frame Generator Assembly will be placed at the top level and be grounded. The constraints and levels of the other Models (Parts and Assemblies) will remain the same.
