Descrição

The app provides functionality for coloring holes in accordance with their tolerance. The assignment of colors/appearances to the tolerances can be defined in a dialog in compliance with the company standard. A command to efficiently allocate/overwrite tolerances of existing holes is integrated into the app.

It is established practice to document tolerances of holes by assigning a color to the hole’s surfaces. CAM systems can detect the fit from the 3D model using the color information. The holes in a model can be quickly assigned fittings and associated colors through the app.

Define: For each different fit a color must be assigned according to the company standard representations.  These configurations must be defined only once.

Assign: When creating holes in the part without assigning fits the command ‘Assign’ is carried out to apply a selected fit to the selected holes in the component. The hole’s casing surfaces are thereby dyed simultaneously corresponding to the assignment.

Dye: By calling command ‚Dye‘ all holes already provided with fits are dyed in accordance with the predefined mappings. If the functionality is launched from an open assembly, it acts on all of the components.

Benefits:

  • Easy fit definition for holes in parts
  • Fast assignment of color definitions to holes according to their fits
  • Implementation of company policies or manufacturing standards

For 30 days after installation, the app is available in trial mode. In trial mode, the number of configurations is limited to a maximum of 2 configurations.
