Areas add in allows you to quickly calculate surface areas of parts and assemblies.
Surfaces areas are split out into surface appearances.
Areas is great for estimating the amount of coating required for a part or for calculating surface areas to be used in corrosion protection calculations.
Hello,
It is a good tool for large parts (over 100 mm). On the other hand, small parts (less than 10 mm) do not give any result because the unit extracted in square meter with 3 digits after the decimal point.
Would it be possible to choose the unit and the precision level in your Add-In.
This is still very convenient as it is, for most of the mechanical industry.
