FINDZOMBIES command search for proxy entities and objects and display the result in a tree structure.
KILLZOMBIES command erases the proxy entities and objects for the checked applications in the dialog.
gc-killallzombies LISP function removes all the proxy objects and proxy entities found in the drawing.

Not sure if this solved the problem as I had to take a few additional steps to finally get the civil xref to bind, but installing this did crash Autocad and it removed my customized toolbar. Is this a known issue, or did it happen because I installed it while Autocad was open?
As the title says, does it run on the poverty version of AutoCAD Lt?
Proxies are ruining my drawings and I need help!
ZombieKiler is a .NET application which is not compatible with AutoCAD LT versions.

All of Gile's apps are top notch
I tried EVERYTHING to remove proxy graphics left over from Civil 3D exports and nothing worked. All the other processes were so involved, laborous, and complicated and didn't really solve the problem. ZombieKiller is a 2 click process that works so well. Problem solved.
I looked at a bunch of other solutions and this is the best! Why there isn't a function built into AutoCAD escapes me.
Our company has been plagued with proxy entities for many years; they made their way into our templates, and have poisoned every project ever since. Nothing worked to remove them until I found this app. Works exactly as expected.
Finally, after spending hours, and hours of drafting time and research I have a way to remove C3D proxies. Just Amazing...

I tried it, unfortunately the program only removes a few proxy objects from my drawing, some kind of proxy can't be deleted.

The dgnpurge didn't work because of these AcDbZombieObject, despite it is working on another computer and the same dwg file. With ZombieKiller the problem is solved. My only one remark is that I can't start script on multiple dwg files with the zombie killer because of the dialog box which appears and needs approval.
I have Zombie Killer installed for my ACAD MEP 2013. I love it. BUT.... When I use it and save the file, and then someone with ACAD Architecture 2012 attempts to open it, they get a FATAL ERROR. Help! This is causing a major issue with our production and deadlines! Thanks!
use the application and then resave the autocad file to version 2010 or 2007 and should be all fine
Very reliable - gets rid of annoying unpurgeable zombie entities with one click! Best of all - it's free! Death to zombies!
Wonderful plugin, hasn't let me down yet. When Purge and wblock fails, here comes Zombiekiller to the rescue. The name suits this plugin perfectly. This plugin combined with Xpurge turned a 74,000 KB drawing to 450 KB, like magic :-)
