Bonus Tools 2020-2024 is a free collection of useful Autodesk® Maya® scripts and plug-ins. After installing Bonus Tools, an additional pull-down menu will be added to the end of the main Maya menu providing easy access to a variety of tools and utilities for daily use. Maya Bonus Tools has been organized to mimic the layout of the standard Maya menu sets with each sub-menu containing a number of related tools.

Installation
Before installing Bonus Tools 2024, older versions of Maya Bonus Tools should be uninstalled first in order to avoid conflicts.
In order to support the app from shared network drives the MAYA_PACKAGE_PATH environment variable needs to be set to point to the directory that contains PackageContents.xml.
The world axis can only be selected as the X axis, and Y and z are gray and cannot be selected

Amazing stuff! So useful! but didn't work in 2023-2024. From these version of maya did not show the vertices at all

Really love tools included. What I cant understand is why such massive company as Autodesk cant make it available for new Maya version on release but one has to wait few months. Still no version compatible with Maya 2024 and there was already patch to Maya. Also - why these tools are not included in Maya? Again - fantastic tool set unnecesairly separated from Maya itself and updated few months into release for no reason.

I installed Auto Maya 2022 and the bonus tools on my mac. But I tried several times on the modeling-selection-select every N-th edge in Loops/ Rings. It is not working, nothing is helping me.

The updates take too long after new versions and the tools could be bundled with the software or at least with more constant version independent updates.

I downloaded this specifically for the Poly Volume. It works great. Perfect. Make sure you enable the "Measure" Plug in so the Poly Volume will be accessible because by default it is grayed out and requires the Measure Plug in.

Despite having a clean install and running the plug in install it somehow doesnt whow up and i cant activate it either in the plug in manager

I download the latest version of the bonus tool for MAYA 2022, cannot find sweep mesh at all. I used to use the curve to tube/ ribbon all the time
in maya 2022 its inbuild.. go to Create Tab.. and select sweep mesh...same option but its advanced version from maya bonus tool
You have to set the interface in animation mode to see the Bonus Tools menu :)
Installed Bonus Tools 2018-2022 in Maya 2020.4 (Win10) and none of the new tools show up.
The obsolete versions of the tools' Curve to ribbon' and' Curve to Tube' are still present, there is no Speedcut, weight editor, or any of the other new features.
Furthermore, the green (new feature) highlight appears on additions from the previous bonus tools collection. (eg: Modify > Proprotional placement tool)
When checking the install location, the new plugins/scripts all reside within the install folders, unless i'm missing something, it seems this was shoddily packaged with a previous version of the installer and configuration files.
Also, I have downloaded, installed, and uninstalled these tools multiple times, on a fresh install of maya with no change.
Please fix.

major software bugs tho:
when I try activating the Polytool plugin after installing BonusTools successfully (Win10), we just get error (tried multiple boxes)

it's easy to solve download the notepad++ app 1:open LT_UI.mel 2:find the line 1501 or else. find something like " text -l "x" -al left -fn boldLabelFont;" change the " " to x or "aa" 3: save the file Done!
Layout tool can't be used in any version of Maya，why？

This happens when u try scale the speedCUT Gui, to fi ,minimize Maya and maximize again. it should show speedCUT again, to scale the Gui, do it on a screen-2 if u have 1.
Sweep Mesh is not a stable or flexible enough replacement for Curve to Ribbon Mesh. Sweep Mesh has tripled my work time for the same task due to having to fiddle with UV's for each individual hair card and being unable to smoothly work with more than one mesh at a time. Please keep Curve to Ribbon Mesh for another year or two while Sweep Mesh finds its footing.
Oh boi now we are talking modeling hard surface in maya fast :)

I have the same issue, the new tools don't appear, tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. If i uninstall Bonus Tools and open Maya the Bonus Tools menu disappears, then reinstall and it's the same old Bonus Tools Menu, still have Curve To Ribbon, can't see SpeedCut anywhere in the menu.
Would be so ossom to have this amazing plugin in Maya 2022.

Installed bonustools 2020, and when i open my scene files, everything is empty
Same problem, and after delete tool I still couldn't save files
I just installed the bonus tool but there are missing some option, like in modeling slide components is missing and also draw split and draw reduce
It was working for me for a while. But then just stopped suddenly. I've tried to Repair, Reinstall but I get the same warning message when going into UV Editing Unwrap.

I have a lot of fatal error when I change the options of this tool...
But it's not my main issue, I can't see any icons when I click on "Update Browser Icons". I want to see my shaders library (vray, arnold, maya shaders : no icons). Any way to see them ?
I try to create some swatches/icons manually but It doesn't work.
This crash bug has been fixed in the latest version of BT. This fix should work in both Maya 2020 and Maya 2019. Otherwise icons can been created and viewed for any mb, ma or fbx file.

I have a similar issue : Warning: file: C:/ProgramData/Autodesk/ApplicationPlugins/MayaBonusTools-2016-2019/Contents/scripts-2018/LT_UI.mel line 1838: The -bs/-borderStyle flag is obsolete and should not be used. With a lot of fatal error due to the Browser and I can't see any icons in it.. even after clicking on "Update Browser Icons" Do you find a way to work with the browser ?

This is a bug caused by the character "°"，My solution is to find all text -l " °" parts and change it totext -l " degree" It may be the reason of my Chinese operating system, I cannot find a symbol that can display "°" correctly

Try again with new installers. This should be fixed for both Maya 2019 and Maya 2018.

This error 'line 1163: Cannot find procedure "setXGenHUDVisibility"' is caused by xgenToolkit.mll not being loaded into Maya. Go into the Plug-in Manager and load the xgenToolkit.mll. The auto unwrap UV's tool should work fine afterwards.
FYI - this has been fixed for the 2020 version and also works with 2019.

I just installed this tools, but there isn't "Weight Editor" in "Bonus Tools" menu.

Crashes every time I change icon size in the layout window (tried on different computers). Images displayed in icons are not scaled so appear cropped.

Works fine in 2017, but I also want it to work in 2016, which is also installed on my Mac, but the "universal installer" provided ignores it, and does not install bonus tools to the older installed version of Maya.
some commands like "copy pivot from last selected" are missing in maya 2018. Any workaround?
