Handy for using on aerial images!

Love this product. I use Civil 3D 16 and 19, I can only use in 16.
Any word on when it will be updateed
Please update to latest Autocad, I love this thing!
I like the way it works but we upgraded to 2018. Is there a time line as to when that will come out if it is being worked on right now.
This allowed me to complete work in CAD that I normally have to transfer to ARC GIS
Been using it for several years, so much better than text mask, easier than the alternatives. Thanks!
Is the 2018 version coming out?
Please update for 2018! I will send you a cookie Mark:)
I like this, but I find I have to explode mleaders and dimensions in order to use it on them, which is a problem in itself. Is there a version coming where it will work with these?
Initially created Halo Text and everything looked fine. Then at some point during editing the halotext becomes a big blob and can't be read on screen, but still plots properly.
Hi Al, could you send an email to the support address with a screenshot and the dwg that is causing this issue. Thanks
After installing this package I get a warning during AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 startup about Loading MDAP-HaloText.dll. Says 'The publisher of this executable file could not be virified and the file is not located in a trusted folder).
I need this app. But it doesn't seem to load onto C3D 2019. Is there a new version coming?
Hi Jeff, I hope to have a 2017 version ready for updating very shortly
2017 version up and running. Thanks so much!
I am using AutoCAD C3D 2015. After using HALOTEXT and follow the prompt, I came up letter with halo border but hidding under the letter, the halo should appear on top of letter, can anyone help?
Any plans on making this able to use on blocks, labels or points?
I'm currently adding this functionality (although through another app) and should be available for free via the exchange store shortly. Stay tuned
It is a great tool, I was looking for it a lot, I used intensive in GIS with multiple data or satellite imagery. I would recommend add halo text to the attribute, due to in Autocad Map attributes or labels are often used, sometimes more than any text. Thanks,
I'm in the same boat, from what I can tell from your comment. When I apply a halo, it seems to just make my existing text thicker, but in the same colour. It doesn't seem to apply the specified halo colour to the text.
Works great, easy to use. Very similar effect to halo text in ArcGIS. Now, if only Autodesk could add this to their main product ... wishlist!
This app would have been better if it worked on fonts like arial. I've been doing the same thing it does simply by copying text and changing it's width. A problem with this app is that the halo effect seems to only work if you have the Halo Text plugin. If you send the file, or a user opens without the plugin, the halo effects aren't there.
wonderful
A great app that provides a functional alternative to the background mask in MText, especially on aerial photography drawings. Awesome.
Works well and provides a more visually pleasing alternative to Background Mask.
