What can I do with Drawing Sync?
Create DWP Drawing Patch files.
DWP files detail changes that you have made to your drawings. A patch is a text file that provides detailed data for updated, deleted, or added objects. Drawing patches can be created for your current drawing session, with your previous save, or from drawing history.
Import DWPs
Add entities from drawing patch files into your drawing. Entities that are added (appended) in the patch can be imported by others.
Maintain drawing history
Track project folders in a local repository (version control). You can compare drawing versions or restore files by selecting an earlier date. From the version history, you can easily run the Autodesk® AutoCAD® DWG Compare command. TrueView (if installed) is supported to view earlier versions of your drawings quickly.
Sync Central
Drawing Sync works with the Autodesk desktop connector to track file history for cloud projects. Make it easier to collaborate with others by maintaining a local version history of your cloud files. With the desktop connector, you can track projects hosted in Autodesk Construction Cloud® (ACC) projects and Autodesk Drive.
Resolve conflicts
Use Drawing Sync's Merge feature to resolve after working offline in the desktop connector, and you see the message: Update File Failed: A conflict has occurred on this file. This advanced feature requires a local repository (version history).
Note: This app uses a custom installer (and not the standard App Store installer).
