It is common to find drawings that have been created by others or that have been generated automatically by a vector program where all objects are in a single layer and everything is set up by color, by linetype, etc.
This application automatically creates new layers with the properties of these objects and places each object in its corresponding layer.
The end result is a drawing that looks like the original, except that all objects will be organized by layers.
Layers are an important organizational tool and can reduce the visual complexity of a drawing and improve display performance by controlling how objects are displayed or plotted.
