Cut Opening generates and controls opening elements in Autodesk® Revit® models. Openings can be created where ducts, pipes, cable trays, conduits, and their fittings intersect walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, beams, and columns.

The tool enhances design by increasing precision, by allowing sharing information about openings between all project participants, and by tracking changes in models with the suggested opening updates.

Additional features include automatic fire damper insertion for ductwork and door/window opening creation in structural models according to linked architectural doors and windows.
