Descrizione
Views Synchronizer is a free plugin for Autodesk® Revit® developed to link, manage and synchronize views across multiple Revit models. This application allows users to overcome Revit built-in functionality limitation of not supporting linked models while creating callouts and using the 'Reference Other View' option.
Functionality:
- Link Detail Item family instance (acting as a callout) to any view in the current or linked model
- Synchronize changes for all Detail Item family instances with changes applied for linked view in the current or linked model
- Export synchronization results
- Navigate to the selected Detail Item

Unable to find the parameter file in the installed folder. Can you provide the file separately, thanks.
Dear Ikjot, Thank you for using our plug-in. At this time, a shared parameter file is not provided. However, the required parameters can be transferred using Revit → Manage tab → Transfer Project Standards from the Sample_Model_2022.rvt file included in the sample models folder. A link to this folder is also available in the plug-in’s startup dialog in Revit. Alternatively, the parameters may be added manually, which should only take a few minutes. You can find the sample models at the following location: C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\KEOViewsSynchronizer.bundle\Contents\sample_models Please let us know if you need any assistance. Best regards, Mateusz
Thanks for clarifying, I also tried creating manual parameters but they did not work-can you also specify what could be the cause for manual parameters to not work but transfer project parameters work. Additionally, I would also like to ask if KEO team has generated section or elevation families compatible with this plugin to refer sections/ elevations as well with the linked views? And does this applies to sections and elevations, or is the current functionality is limited to callouts only?
Thanks Ikjot for providing the additional context. I can confirm that the parameters VS_View_Name, VS_View_Number, VS_Sheet_Number, VS_View_Id, and VS_Enabled can be added manually and do not need to be transferred from the sample models (although using the sample models is the fastest and recommended approach). When creating these parameters manually, please ensure that you follow the requirements outlined in the help documentation. In particular, make sure that VS_Enabled is created as a Type Yes/No parameter and that it is enabled for the Detail Item category. Regarding your second question about using the plug-in with other elements such as sections or elevations: we have not developed specific families for these cases. However, the plug-in works with any family in the Detail Item category, provided that the VS_Enabled Type parameter is checked. The graphical appearance of the family, whether it resembles a callout, section, or elevation marker, is not relevant to the plug-in’s functionality. Best Regards, Mateusz

Dear Alaa, Please be informed that version 1.1.3 published on 12/19/2024 supports Revit 2024 and 2025. Regards
