When in “Or” mode, the command will select all elements that match any of the properties.

When in “And” mode, the command will only select elements that match all the selected properties.

Note that if you have any elements selected when you initially run the command, there will be a prompt to only use the selected objects. Use this to select from a particular view or narrow down your selection.

  • Very nice filtering tool
    Michael Wolff | aprile 16, 2021

I have been using it for years now and still do that in files that are pre-paid for plug-in. I now stick with the filters that come with pyRevit. Not quite as sophisticated but at least free.

This app shows a weird behaviour when using a localised version of Revit. Make sure to filter both the original English element and whatever AD came up with as a translation in your country's version.

  • Best modelling filter tool
Sjors Peters | marzo 24, 2021 Download verificato (Guida rapida)

When modelling and you need better/deeper filter then revit build in filter which is very basic. This one can filter on type and instance parameter value/level.

For other filtering options not when modelling there are better or simular on the market.

  • Used for years, still not found a better selection tool
Duncan Lithgow | febbraio 01, 2021 Download verificato (Guida rapida)

It does exactly what it says with a level of detail I haven't found in other tools. A great help when making complex changes such as changing the elevation of a level in a badly made model (don't we all love that job).
