DocuGrid detects model elements' respective grid locations and writes them to the element's parameter.

Show element's grid locations in schedules! Tag your elements! Tell us what you're using DocuGrid for!

Hi, i was modeling a Structural System and when i open "DocuGrid"; it gave me an error.

  • Works only for non-workshared models

While the add-in works, it only works when you're not collaborating. So any larger projects, or even just 2 people on the same model, the add-in no longer detects grids.

  • Great and usefull app

    very usefull app

it would be great if you can add the distance to those grids in a seperate parameters

it will help detect model imperfections

Me aparece, "no vertical grids found"

Solved, when extracting from another model or collaborating, the addin doesnt recognize the grids

Hi Gus, Thanks for raising this. In order for DocuGrid to work, there must be at least 2 grids in your model, 1 vertical, 1 horizontal. Note that any grids drawn with curves/ arcs will be linearized. Hope this will resolve your issue. Han
