Just placing a drawing view onto a drawing sheet is simple enough but aligning the views up isn’t, especially if you want to have the plan view aligning up in the same position on every drawing.
This plug-in will help you with aligning views on many different drawings sheets just in few clicks.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but this does not work for me in Revit 2021 or 2018. I was trying to align a bunch of dependent views on sheets, a pair at each level, but although it seemed to align in one direction, it didn't in the other. I even cut and pasted the view boundaries for each pair of dependent views so that they were identical. It's really a shame because this functionality should be in Revit out of the box. The developer has not responded to emails seeking assistance.
Update: The developer contacted me after reading this review. He is working on a verstion that actually does what it says, that is, align views based on the project base point and not on the arbitrary view boundaries. This will be a huge improvement if it works. Review updated to three stars, with more to come if it works. PS this review should have been placed with the 2021 version, not this older one, sorry.

I have another version is alignview 2021 and it run on revit 2020 and 2021.

This App saves me a bunch of time especially when im working in models that i have several hundred sheets in. could we please get a verizon on an update to be able to use it in Revit 2018? Thanks Again!
