    I was so excited to use this add-on, but every help video I've found shows the linked documents already loaded. I've tried closing and reopening my Revit file, but every time I click Transfer Legend - Select Link Document, the drop-down tab is empty. How do I link a project? I don't understand why it isn't working...

    Tatiana, you need to first "link" the revit model from which you want to copy the legends to your current project. Do this through the "manage links" tool. After you copied all the legends you wanted, you can remove the link again. Cheers!

    This is absolutely great for the initial transfering of legends!  I'm in a situation where the legends have changed in the parent model and need to be updated in the child models.  Rather than creating a new legend with an increment number, this tool would be even more useful if we could choose to replace the contents of the legend.

    It does what needs to be in Revit by default. 

    Transferring/Copying Legends from one file into another.

    Hi Arbel, If you already have the same naming in your current document, ViewName's of the Legend that you transferred will have a incremented number as a suffix which start counting from 2. (eg. YourExistingLegend2 .. etc;)

    Important things. colors is transfered with legend !

     

    trés bonne application. il est à souligner que les couleurs paramétrées dans les légendes sont également transférée ! et bien sur les famille incluses dans les légendes sont par l'occasion transférées aussi !
