BIMWERX Batch File Upgrader 2021

Upgrade multiple Autodesk® Revit® Projects (*.rvt) or Revit Families (*.rfa) in a folder to the most current version.


The batch file upgrader will scan a user-specified folder (with the option to scan subfolders) for project files and family files, upgrade them and save them in the same folder. All backup files are automatically removed afterward in order not to clutter the folder that is being upgraded.


This application requires minimal input and works great with multiple library file upgrades.

    Hello, I am currently being troubleshooted with a problem I ran into with version 2019 and now 2021. The program was deleting the files I actually  wanted to upgrade.  I didn't notice this until I was going to update revit portfolio work and found missing files/links/etc. Files had been removed. PLEASE MAKE SURE IF YOU ARE USING THIS APP THAT ALL YOUR FILES YOU WANT UPDATED ARE STILL THERE.

    I am currently getting some troubleshoot help and am giving a heads up TO USERS OF THIS APP. Make sure you have backup somewhere which you can retrieve your files that jmay get removed. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BACKUP BEFORE YOU USE THIS APPLICATION!!!

    Ramiro, this was an isolated issue and you were the only user to ever experience this issue. I believe I did refund you and solved the problem for you. We've had thousands of satisfied users of this add-in over the years. This is why we have a 5 star rating on the previous versions.
