GRAITEC PowerPack for Autodesk® Revit® is an add-on packed with tools that deliver more functionality, better control, and more automation for Revit users across all industries. 

Starting with the current version, all GRAITEC Advance BIM Designers functionalities for reinforcement design and detailing that are working in the Revit environment are combined with GRAITEC PowerPack for Revit and are available under one common GRAITEC PowerPack brand.

This document contains the description of new options and improvements on GRAITEC PowerPack related to the reinforcement detailing on the Revit environment.

Visual modification of the ribbon in GRAITEC PowerPack for Revit 

Three ribbons are now available: PowerPack, PowerPack Detailing, and PowerPack Design.

On the PowerPack ribbon, users can find all commands available so far on the Graitec PowerPack ribbon with new options, including ribbon management.

On the PowerPack Detailing ribbon, users can find commands to quickly create 3D rebar cages, commands to facilitate the work with the reinforcement and commands to simplify the creation of drawing documentation.

On the PowerPack Design ribbon, users can find commands for designing rebar cages according to international design codes.

New tools include:  

» Save and Load ribbon Configuration: Saves and loads a custom ribbon configuration by generating and using a .xml file.

» 3D Grids: Convert all Grids among a Revit Project into Revit symbol, making them visible in a 3D view.

» Align Grids: Aligns multiple grids to a specified point.

» Grid Bubble visibility: Shows or hides the visibility of the grid bubbles.

» Move XY: Objects can be moved to relative or absolute coordinates (Survey Point, Project Base Point, Internal Origin) by typing values for X and Y.

» Batch Export: Export a Revit Project and Revit views into multiple target formats.

» Navisworks Clashes: Clashes on Revit models detected by Autodesk® Navisworks® can be visualized inside Revit.

» Cable Tray Reference Level: Adds a shared parameter for the reference level of cable trays.

» Toggle Structural Element: Hide or show the formwork model.

» Toggle Analytical Floors: Hide or show analytical floors in the active view.

» End Bar Symbol: Available in the Detailing ribbon, allows for a quick definition of 2D views of a special symbol showing the location of ends of straight bars.

» Constructive Dispositions: Create preliminary reinforcement for structural elements.

» Edge reinforcement: Generate reinforcement along the edges of structural elements, such as walls and slabs.

» Cranked bars: Create cranks at selected ends of longitudinal bars.

» Openings: Generate constructive reinforcement around openings.

» Reinforcement layers: Create your own layers (parameter values) and assign reinforcement to them.

» Tag multiple bars: Create a special common tag for selected multiple individual rebars having the same bar mark.

Improvements include:  

» Numbering: Better numbering process for nested families.

» Pipe Openings: Create openings in circular walls.

» New format for dialog windows: Introducing simplified dialogs for Geometry, Design Assumptions and Edit Reinforcement.

» Rebar Visibility: New option to change visibility by Layer.

» Cover settings: Concrete cover now reads the cover assigned in Revit.

» Bar diameters: Introducing different bar diameters for every Revit template.

» Bending details: Improved placing and generation of bending details.

» Rebar schedule schema: New formatting and added bending radius.
