BreakerRating is a plugin for Autodesk® Revit® that calculates the breaker standard rating according to the load of each created electrical circuit.

The plugin associates 3 shared parameters to the category of electrical circuits:

• Bifactor: Shared parameter type number; it is a factor equal to or greater than 1 (Recommended 1.25), which is multiplied by the apparent current (Revit Parameter) of each circuit to choose the next size up of the standard values of the NEC NFPA 70 standard breakers.

• Minimum: Shared parameter type number; it is a parameter that can be 15 A, 20 A, 25 A, or 30 A, which means that it is the standard minimum value that the circuit breaker will consider.

• Brbreakerpoles: Shared parameter type text; it combines the values of the Rating and the number of poles in the circuit (Example: 25/2, 25 A / 2 poles).
