With over 10 new tools available, this Autodesk® Inventor® Vault add-in extends your existing Vault environment by introducing a further set of in-demand and powerful data management tools to help enhance your data management workflows.

• File Export Tools

PowerPack for Vault contains a range of tools specifically designed to enhance file management export workflows giving you new levels of flexibility.

Tools Include:

» IDW2PDF: Export Vaulted IDW files as PDFs to an external folder location 

» IDW2DWG: Export Vaulted IDW files as DWG files to an external folder location 

» IDW2DXF: Export Vaulted IDW files as DXF files to an external folder location 

» IPT2DXF: Export Vaulted IPT files as DXF files to an external folder location 

» DWG2PDF: Export Vaulted DWG files as PDFs to an external folder location 

» DWG2DXF: Export Vaulted DWG files as DXF to an external folder location 

All the above-mentioned jobs can be run by simply selecting the file/files in Vault, right clicking and selecting add job to queue. Then you select the required job in the job queue and press ok. These jobs will then use job processor in Vault to process the jobs.

• Assembly Structure Export Tools

PowerPack contains a set of powerful assembly structures export tools giving you additional options to speed up the assembly structure export process and improve productivity.

» Export an assembly structure to PDF: This command allows you to export an assembly structure to PDF.

 Simply select the assembly in Vault, right click and select export structure to PDF. The Vaulted assembly structure files are exported to an external folder and converted to PDF.

» Export Structure to DXF: This command allows you to export an assembly structure to DXF.

 Simply select the assembly in Vault, right click and select export structure to DXF. The Vaulted assembly structure files are exported to an external folder and converted to DXF

• File Watermarking

This Command allows you to activate watermarks during file exports. Options include the ability to watermark common files types when exporting files to PDF, DXF and DWG.

• Status Change Restriction 

This tool gives you greater control with additional status change control restriction options.

Status change restrictions can be setup in Vault using the status change restriction. XLM file or creating your own .XML file. This will allow you to set up curtain rules or curtain criteria that files must meet before it will allow the lifecycle state to be changed.
