Trimmer from CAD Design Software fulfills that desire in a cost-effective app! It features the ability to trim lines or polylines either externally or internally, based on a user-specified intersecting boundary. Another fantastic feature is that trimmed lines can be placed on a new layer if needed, all at the same time!
